Warranty for Vancouver Cabinets Inc.

 

Vancouver Cabinets Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that our cabinetry products are made free from defects in materials and workmanship when used under normal residential conditions and installed correctly. This 5-year warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

 

This warranty covers:

 

Cabinet Boxes and Wood Products

  • Structural problems such as warping, splitting, or joint failure
  • Stain finish issues like peeling or excessive cracking not caused by environment or misuse

 

Painted Products (Wood or HDF)

  • Structural defects
  • Paint finish problems such as peeling or blistering
    (Minor hairline cracks or joint lines caused by natural wood movement are not covered)

 

Hardware

  • Defects in hinges and drawer glides, according to the original hardware manufacturer’s warranty

 

This warranty does not cover:

 

  • Natural wood characteristics such as grain variation, color differences, knots, mineral marks, or natural aging
  • Changes in color or finish caused by sunlight, heat, moisture, smoke, or cleaning products
  • Small cracks or joint lines in painted cabinets caused by seasonal expansion or contraction
  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, modification, or water exposure
  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, and scuffs
  • Products used in commercial, rental, or non-residential settings unless approved in writing

 

If Vancouver Cabinets confirms a covered defect, we will choose one of the following options:

  • Repair the defective part
  • Replace the defective part
  • Refund the purchase price of the defective item (up to the original amount paid)

 

Replacement parts may not match the original product exactly due to natural aging and material differences.

 

To submit a warranty claim, please:

  • Contact Vancouver Cabinets Inc. or the dealer where the cabinets were purchased
  • Provide clear photos showing the opening of the original packaging and all included items before assembly.
  • Complete and submit the Service Order Word document with a description of the problem
  • Submit the claim within 30 days of discovering the issue

 

We may request additional information or ask to inspect or return the product before approving the claim.

 

LEGAL INFORMATION

 

This 5-year warranty is the only warranty provided by Vancouver Cabinets Inc.
No dealer or representative may change or extend this warranty.

 

Some provinces do not allow certain warranty limitations, so parts of this warranty may not apply to all customers. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights depending on your location.
